“Ararat College has enjoyed a long, close and mutually beneficial partnership with AME Systems.
It is to AME Systems’ very great credit that it is an extremely community conscious organisation.
Our school and students have benefitted significantly through the support that has been provided by the company to our scholarship program, our school’s involvement in the Rock Eisteddfod and State School Spectacular Programs and the provision of work and work experience placements. More recently AME Systems has been a strong supporter of our VCAL program and our students are currently assisting with the significant Legacy Memorial Garden project.
Our students have been involved in AME Systems’ Mind Shop Excellence program and all of the suggestions/’proposals that were made by them have been implemented. Peter Carthew has been “Principal for a Day” at our school and our VET Hospitality Students have assisted with AME Systems’ special lunch days and also as waitresses and waiters at AME Systems’ functions.
Ararat College is very proud of its partnership with AME Systems. We are very grateful for the company’s ongoing sponsorship and support of our school and also for the opportunities that have been provided to allow our students to assist them in return. Through their sponsorship and support AME Systems has made it possible for hundreds of young people to have a wide range of experiences that has helped them to obtain better educations and to become better citizens, for this, our whole community should be extremely grateful. “
