AME Systems… doing their bit for people affected by cancer!
ARARAT, Australia – 22nd June 2023 – AME Systems staff has again put in a mighty effort with their annual Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea held on Wednesday, 14th June.
For many years, AME Systems staff have enthusiastically embraced the Biggest Morning Tea.
Held over different tea breaks for both the Day Shift and Afternoon/Night Shift, staff enthusiastically embraced the ‘out of uniform’ day and went to great lengths to dress in bright, bold, colourful and creative outfits to get behind such an important cause.
Morning tea of individually packed cakes were generously provided by East Grampians Health Service which were well received by staff in addition to supporting the Social Club raffle and other fundraising activities.
Best dressed prizes were presented to Peter Harrison and Fiona Newman however there were others as well worthy of selection.
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a community event which this year celebrates 30 years and raises vital funds to support those impacted by cancer and every dollar raised makes an incredible difference.
Overall, to date well over $10m dollars has been raised by just on 22,259 registered morning teas hosted across Australia and AME Systems staff have certainly done their bit.
Social Club President Luke Bannister said: “Again this year AME System’s staff have generously supported the Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and our Social Club have added to this by conducting a staff raffle which was supported by the company together with other activities to add to the overall tally which will be finalise in the next week. It is pleasing that AME Systems staff can all work together for this fundraiser and other worthy causes both locally and beyond on a national scale.”
