AME Systems recently took the opportunity at their end of year Best Practice luncheon to acknowledge local photographer, Peter Pickering’s contribution to the business over many years with a special presentation.
Since 2003, when Peter established his photography business as Peters Pix in Ararat he has been a regular visitor to the manufacturing plant covering major events and the many activities that have involved staff, visitors and dignitaries.
Well known within the community and throughout the municipality as the ‘local’ photographer for the Ararat Advertiser in addition to his freelancing, Peter has continually answered the call to help out at AME Systems.
Presenting Peter with his Award AME Systems owner, Peter Carthew said: “Peter has been a regular around the place for the 13 years since he set up his photography business and has always made himself available on a needs basis other than his responsibilities to the Ararat Advertiser. AME Systems really appreciates the support of individuals and groups within the community and this acknowledgement to Peter is very deserving and we thank him so much for his time and effort to the business.”
In accepting the award Peter thanked all at AME Systems for the acknowledgement and said it is always a pleasure to work with such a community focussed business and be made feel welcome each time he has come onto the site over all the years gone by.
This is the second time AME Systems has acknowledged community representatives association with business. Ararat Lions Club was recognised a few years ago for their long-time support to the regular staff Best Practice barbecues. wiring loom
